***Spotlight on Technology***
Educational apps will be posted here that may be useful if you wish to download them onto an iPad, iPod, iPhone, or other tablet or smart-device. They will more than likely be for i-devices, as that is what we use in school, but I will try to include others as well when I hear about them (feel free to email me your own recommendations). Some will be free and others may cost money. These are just suggestions, so please do not feel obligated to download any.
*Endless Reader (free, but in-app purchases) - Great for identifying and spelling some sight words
*Endless Numbers (free, but in-app purchases) - Great for identifying and understanding numbers
*Endless Alphabet (costs $$)
*Montessori Crosswords (costs $$) - Great phonics activities
*ABC Magic (variety of apps/games - most free) - Each app focuses on a different phonics/reading skill; Download the ABC Magic app (ABC Magic 1-8, ABC Reading Magic 1-4, ABC Spelling Magic 1-4, Sentence Reading Magic 1-4, and maybe more) depending on your child's level and need
*Phonics Awareness (free) - Great for practicing segmenting and blending words, understanding vowels
*Animal Math Games for Kids (free version with in-app purchases or paid version) - Good number sense activities
